There is always a chance you will be charged additional fees like duty or brokerage.

It really is up to customs and if they open up your shipment and decide on its value.

I believe under $60 is safe for no duties... Or maybe it was $25 :P

Anyhow, same situation as US I guess... Sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. Although I have US shipments are usually more prone to duties. Brokerage fees I usually only see from Fedex, and UPS ground shipping only... (In the past it did happen to me with USPS/Canada Post, but not recently)
