With mine I layed out everything that was going to go into the case onto the foam, traced it, then cut the shapes out using a leathermen. Not the cleanest cuts, but it got the job done.
I've had a couple people say it looks decent, I think it looks like ass but works at the end of the day. Maybe they were just being nice. :-P

That looks sweet. That guy mcguyvered a foam cutting table. Not sure if i can do that.
