Just relax and take a deep breath.
The rifle is most likely fine. If the retailer will not replace it then someone will be able to repair it and it wont be very expensive. If you have a problem like that, your gun will be worth considerably less.
Wiring problems can be pretty common and can also be a very easy fix, the fact that you have already identified the problem is great. Just keep trucking.
I have had all sorts of problems with an AK i used to own and I paid a fortune for it. I eventually got rid of it because the damn thing was plagued with problems. You are always going to run into problems and you are going to have to overcome them, that is the way airsoft is,

EDIT: when i say rifle i mean the mechbox, motor and such. I have had an experience like yours. Depending on how long it was left like that your motor could be toast but i dont think so
