You put it on properly too........... if you shoot left handed. With a three point, the shoulder you tuck the stock into is the one the strap sits on. After you sort that out, tighten it up against the rifle enough to let the peice slie without getting in the way of anything, then adjust the overall length to suit your preferences for hanging height vs. shouldered length.

BTW, interesting sweater, reminds me that doing I love mazes, and.............. are those parachute pants?!?
