The stuff you wear from china was OUTSOURCED there to be assembled. When you talk about gear, they copied the desing. And they did it at the lowest cost possible.
I've seen china replica gear brand new, in pretty horrible shape. With stiches a dog could do better. And the overall quality of the rig was mediocre.
You won't be able to re-sell your crappy gear if you decide to. If you buy a reputed brand, your gear will resell fast.
