If you have access to a multimeter tool, this could be your best friend at this time. You shall unplug the motor, and while on the buzzer mode on the multimeter, press the trigger, with the two multimeter ends on each motor connector. Make sure that you put something to short-circuit the battery's connector, a metal piece curved will do.
If it buzzs, then you have a good switch wiring. Otherwise, you'll need a new wiring/switch.
It might also be a battery connector that is loose and doesn't make contact everytime.
