CA M15a4 Very Intermittent Firing

Hello everyone,

Looking for some advice on a problem with my CA M15A4. Essentially, the gun works when it feels like it, and doesn't when it doesn't. When it does work, it functions flawlessley, but the problem is that it's sort of 50-50 whether anything at all will happen when you pull the trigger. Half the time it blats away and half the time (more like 75% really) there is simply no reaction whatever. It's not the battery, of that I'm sure.

Now, is this likely to be a trigger wiring problem? Or perhaps a motor problem? Speaking to the local doctor, he's fine with fixing a dissassembled gun instead of a fully assembled gun for no extra cost, so I'm tempted to take it apart myself and have a crack at fixing it instead of forking out the cash. I figure I've got to learn how to do this at some point, so it may as well be when it needs doing, but I'm after some more expert advice on exactly what I might be facing.

Thanks in advance,

Dan
