me personally i dont like to paint the furniture (dust cover, fire selector charging handle, trigger, body pins ect) i think that shows more detail, and prevents it from looking cheezy or cheap which can happen. many people paint em anyways and it still looks good, but more often... not so much. but thats my personal preference so take it for what its worth to you
