My understanding is that the RS CTR is made from a classified and protected material and fits Real Steel Sized buffer tubes, whilst the PTS CTR is made from commercially available, high quality Du-Pont polymer and fits TM sized AEG buffer tubes. That is, unless you buy the mil-spec sized (GBBR) option.

MOE vs CTR = MOE doesn't have a QD sling attachment point, and no friction lock system.
