Also, you can buy whip antennas that are compatible with SMA plugs (which are used by most of the Puxing/Wouxun, etc.. radios. There radio mostly work with Kenwood plugs.

your marsoc thread actually inspired this question. I realized today I have the base for a marsoc impression and will be building one this winter.

EDIT: wait I see now it shows the headset plug on top there with the 6 pins (the little blue thing) thats the other plug I was talking about, what headsets go with those?
