Anyways... I guess you're in England at the moment right now. I suggest you do some research about the VCRA and the UKARA "skirmisher" scheme (note that UKARA is not the only way you can prove that you're an active skirmisher and use the "skirmisher defense" clause).
Now as for Canada, it's best to buy in country and keep it here, you can export it but cannot import it back in so it's best to have 2 guns, one in England and the other in Canada.
IF you're looking for something more for "ISSF" style shooting and precision target shooting Airsoft is not what you want, airsoft has ballistics akin to a musket rifle or shotgun than a "modern day" rifle with a rifled barrel and such. In that case something like a Daisy Powerline or Avanti is probably what you want. Some however you will need a PAL license for (the ones that shoot over "495" FPS).
