What Voodo said is correct for the most part. However, to expand on my original reply, usually, a fuse blows where there's an electrical problem with the gun. Sometimes, it can be just because you overheated the fuse with sustained full auto, but generally, if you blew a fuse, there's something wrong in the gun. Bypassing the fuse when there's an electrical problem already present is not a good idea.
