carrying two pistols only means one thing: having two backups, using them at the same time (unless it's CQB and just for the laugh value) will usually result in you getting shot, and missing someone who's 20 feet infront of you.

but both pistols should share magazines, this way, if one of your pistols goes down you'll have plenty of ammuniton to go around..

i used to run a 3.9 infinity (western arms, with the meat tenderizer front) and a P14-45, they shared mags (well, the 3.9 had a smaller magazine, but could use all the P14 mags)

and the once or twice that i couldn't reach the P14, that 3.9 came in handy. usually while crawling through undergrowth, or while pinned down and out of ammunition in my primary.

but, dual-weilding = dumb. be it rifle or pistol.
