Thanks for the comments...First off, sorry mods...I tried to post this under showcase..but I can view topics, but can't post if you can move this there that would be great..

The tactical block....i would assume its good for something ....probably something that would hurt if you were hit by it, I liked the look of it and it added some weight to the gun.

The barrel was a little bit of a pain to strip. I usually take some sodium hydroxide (red devil pipe cleaner) or easy off to strip anno, but this stuff was like impossible to take off chemically. I used some sandpaper and emery paper for metal to take off the initial layer then used a dremel tool with a wire brush to get the sand paper marks off.

Still a lot of work to do...going to do some interesting stuff with the slide...
