All that is pulling the tappet plate back is a small arm about 1/16th of an inch. This can wear down the "fin" of the tappet preventing the nozzle from pulling back as far as it should. The wear can be very subtle so you may not necessarily see it.
What do you mean too far forward to prevent the bb from loading? The tappet plate mod only affects the movement of the nozzle going forward, but it still goes all the way back. i can see the nozzle maybe pushing the bb too far into the chamber, but why would it affect the feeding? I'm not trying to argue your point, you very well could be correct, i'm just trying to understand it all

Hmm. I'll open it up again and take a look, and maybe replace it.

I'm on a very tight budget at the moment, and i can only afford to replace one part at a time. Would you say to try the sector clip or the tappet plate first? Maybe i'll google image some tappet plates and see if mine is worn, being i can't remember what it looked like a year ago haha.
