Would prefer a sidearm, something that can be holstered. It is tough to describe my situation. I am indeed somewhere between "plinking" in the backyard and 2-3 hours on a weekend with the neighbors. And let me say this. I have 6 neighbors that live within 2 miles or so of one another. Every so often they will come over and we will all go into the woods behind our place and have an old fashion shoot out. I am the last one to get into it, this is why I didn't want to spend $300 on a gun that I may never use but once an month. I figured if I start with a sidearm, Got into it, then I could upgrade to a rifle and still have the sidearm as a 2nd. Thanks again.
