I wonder, though...if you requested that an overseas retailer removed the prohibited items from the gun (lower receiver in most cases) before shipping it, would it make it past customs? Because then, you could just buy a lower from the classifieds and voila.
Though I'm sure that I'm not the smartest person in the world, because someone must have tried this already.
