I recommend the wait and see attitude. I had a M16A2 for my first season. I got it in my head I wanted a SPR. I found out quickly why people use M4's and MP5's. Now I have a TM MP5SD6 and I love it. Lighter, more compact and easy to handle. You may discover you hate armalites and want some other gun after you play with it a bit.
