Wait about 1 season before you upgrade the gun and as far as sights go play around with some of the ones you see at a game, ask to hold there gun and since many use m4 style guns the different optics and sights will translate better to your own gun. I've used many different types, and have found on my m4 that a flip up rear sight, and a reflex red dot work best.
Externally I have a KAC RIS, PEQ, flashlight, KAC foregrip. I've more or less replicated a Block 1 SEALs CQBr.
