I got the clone PCU from EBB. Tested in for a 4 day hike when it snowed, with a Tru-Spec fleece under it (temperature ~0 celcius), and I was really comfortable. It snowed two days in that, and no problems happened. I also fell a few times on rocks, and the material hasn't any visible damage.
I also did a day-long hike under pretty heavy rain and again, I was dry under the Lvl 5 PCU softshell with the fleece underside.
Seriously, for the price... it's great. Now that we've got some real snow, I'll wear it for the coming days and will see how it performs before my upcoming january 5-days snowshoe hike.
