1911 grips = gun not working? WTF?

OK this is the wierdest shit I have ever seen, i have a KWA 1911, and i put nierbee wood grips on it, and the trigger sticks back for a second or 2 after firing, take the grips off, and it works... WTFBBQ? since when does a grip affect the trigger mechanism? I've taken the gun down completely and there is nothing wrong with it...

again, all I can say is WTFBBQ?

It's putting a squeeze on the plastic frame. I notice mine does this when i get a good proper real steal grip on in, there can't be any pressure, try leaving the top screws a little loose.

i dont even have to put the screws in at all, i just put the grip on and it jams up

Does this happen with the stock grips?

no

so your just holding the grip into place with normal pressure of your hand holding it?

thats fuckin weird

look and see if the sides of the triger where it comes out of the gun and the areas that go into it while the trigger is pulled, see if theres rubbing there after you put the grip on.

if so take the gun apart and sand away at that hole just a wee little

Are the grips recessed properly to mate perfectly with the bushings? If they're not, its possible that they're putting pressure on your frame causing it to cave in a slight bit.
