pros and cons..

i 'd like correct info and would like to BE corrected on a best choice decision.for wear ,consistency/ reliablity i need to decide between the aeg i plan to pick up or go with gbbr and learn as whole new ball of wax.can i get some comments /feed back on these.lets say for instance an m4 and a 500$ to work with.

If you want to game, not have to worry about a part breaking every 10-100 shots; if you want reliability and consistency then go with an AEG. If you want the "holy fuck, aaaaaaaaaawesome!" factory and more realism, are willing to put up with the headaches, mechanical failures; expensive parts (magazines, upgrades) and general inconsistency for the most part then go with a GBBR after you have an AEG as a primary.

And no GBBR worth its weight in salt will be found for less than $700 for just the gun.

pros and cons.

i thought as much without adding more than what i said,500$ will get you a trusty aeg .the mags, seals and such will cost you.and you,re left wondering how often you will keep dishing out cash when you just want to game with what you are happy using.

Or less then $500 if you can tolerate a clear lower.

KoolAidMan December 26th, 2009 11:14

i'll pay the extra 150 for the metally goodness : )

IMO...just wait until next spring...(you cant game/use a gbbr the winter ayways... ;)) ..because a lot of campanies are going to release their new gbbr soon (like VFC..), and new parts, more reliable internals...

ShelledPants December 26th, 2009 13:00

I just grabbed a WE SCAR for less then that, shipped, used by a plinker.

you could just pick up a small aeg like a mp5... assuming your still learning. Once you learned enough about airsoft (games and such) you can move on buying a gbbr or something more powerful for outdoors.

thats my 2 cents.

Doesn't the KJW M4 use proprietary parts?

Where can you buy spare parts when it breaks? (All guns break.)

directly from KJW

alos the markets starting to catch onto its reliability so they now have tightbores coming out a system to adjust fps and it's cheap 20$ new mags with even larger gas resvoirs in standard m4 mag shells and much more mabey diffrent bodys soon

your not likely to break parts in this gun they have confirmed this gun going over 10 000 + Rounds and not dying or failing i don't see the same thing with other GBBR

thats why there so much after market parts because the other guns need them to work not to say i wouldn't I'll buy a M14 Gbbr and Hk416 when There availble but for an m4 i'll take this

Or, if you\re just learning, you can pick up something more reliable like a full size AEG with a V3 mechbox.
