Please help, broken jg mp5-a4
 

i have had this gun for about a month, i went to a site today only to find that the gun was just shrieking, sounded like a problem with the motor. i am a newbie and dont know what i am doing. please help. btw it is under guarantee but i have sprayed it so it is now void. GUTTED!!!

Is your motor plated screwed on tightly? Some times if its not, the motor looses contact with the gearbox.

Start by taking an allen key to the bottom of the grip and adjust your motor height.

iv just taken the gear box apart and found all the gears are metal and fine but the white plastic bit that the spring pushes is worn away. where can i get one of those and how much will it be. also im having problems trying to get the gear box back together.

mp5s can be a bitch to take apart, moreso reassemble. good luck man.

well i cant get the gearbox back together so i am going to buy the v.2 jing gong gearbox. this is the item:

to put this in my gun will i need anything else e.g motor, barrel or something

All MP5 expect the MP5K are V2.

The MP5K is a V3

is your old gear box front or rear wired?
because the one in the ebay picture is rear wired

my mp5 is rear wired and the gearbox looks identical to the ebay one pictured. but i dont know the difference between the mk1 mk2 mk3. do i need to buy anything else.
