Gas gun lubrication?
Hi guys. I'm a noob with gas guns and i was wondering, what kind of lubrication should i use to lube up the mechanical parts in gas pistols?
|
I've been using 75wt silicon oil for close to 5 years now without any issues. I think it's also known as shock oil for RC cars

75wt is pretty thick...

also, what would i use to lubricate the bolt on my m4 gbb, stock tube, trigger assembly etc? Would i use the 25wt, 50wt or 75wt?

I've found Airsoft Innovations Tornado grenade oil to be perfect for lubing GBBR bolts, o-rings, buffer tube, etc. However, I would advise NOT running it through the areas where gas travels through the projectile path, though - this would cause a lot of fouling due to the viscosity of it and its tendency to pick up dirt.
For standard GBB pistols, all you need is 2-3 drops of Airsoft Innovations light weight silicone oil in your propane tank every 8-10 fills. |
I don't make my guns pretty for nothing.
When there's enough bling on them I invite my gun pals over to check them out. I close the door and when they're done "looking" the piece is very slippery. May I recommend Ironsight and Murdoch, they are very luby fellows, especially as a duo. |
