Ehobbyasia shipping across border (Silencers)
 

Hey I was told that you can get silencers/suppressors shipped with ease across our border. Is this true or was the guy pulling my chain?

no silencer are considered restricted so they are not supposed to pass the border, but there is a chance that they will pass,lol the seller will tell you what you want to hear to have your money:rolleyes: i buy my silencers here it's more safe... www.airsoftparts.ca

But it wasnt even the seller who told me this :) It was someone on this forum a little while back... I just want a "For show" Silencer, not over 30 bucks like on that webpage you sent me.

Ya i know cheap but not worth the cash for just looks :)

oh mind you they aren't entirely just for looks, my 416 has a sorbo pad, silencer combo and you pretty much can't hear anything but the bb impacts if your more than 10' away.

And whoever told you that you can get silencers across the boarder either had no idea what they were talking about and wanted to seem smart OR ordered one and it got across by fluke and now thinks it always works out that way.

get verified and you'll find them in the classifieds often.

You can attempt to import one, but any risk you take is on your own.
Yes there have been some instances where surpressors have passed through without issue, those are the cases you hear about. Then there are the other cases you do not hear about, the ones where people tried and did not succeed.
