ID this red dot?

Can anyone identify this red dot sight found on the G36c in COD4?

Thanks for your help!

My thoughts too, I have three of them, two on my MP5s and one on my Crosman Stinger shottie.

There's tons of versions of that Tasco made (or rebranded) by different companies. They do work great though and you can pick the Tasco one up from Canadian Tire.

I'm thinking of going and buying a Tasco, how well do they work?

CDN_Stalker March 16th, 2009 21:58

I've been using mine (yes, one on each MP5) for five years, and love them. Fixed and mounted an EOTech, really see no difference except the replica EOTech crosshair is too busy for my likining, I prefer just a simple red dot, and the Tasco has given it to be for years. If I didn't like it................ I'd have replaced it long ago.

For 140$ you can also get a TASCO ProPoint same design as the Aimpoint.

Way better then any replica out there. You can adjust windage/elevation precicely and it keeps zero.

:)

Thats beyond the needs of airsoft. Would make sense if you were into real steal as well.

That isn't the red dot sights from CoD4 it is the ACOG scope. The picture is of a G36C with a ACOG scope. The red dot sights in CoD4 are just one lens and open (not a scope type thing) sorry if this is confusing

I had one on my M4 (now sold) and it's great. Designed for real steel so it'll handle any of your airsoft needs easily. It's also nice and bright and just as cheap as any clone out there. My only complaint is it sits a little low on most rails without a riser (but so would an aimpoint without a cantilever).

BSA has something that look alike as well. And it's pretty cheap. Check out Ebaybanned.
