Firing Problem
 

Just finished reassembling my AK-47 after an upgrade (shim and bushings) and I'm having an issue with semi-auto firing. The gun shoots perfectly in full-auto but for some reason when pulling the trigger in semi-auto the first couple of times nothing happens then it picks up after a couple pulls. Any ideas what could be causing this?
