I wanna create something similiar to his troy.
Thing is I don't really know anything about battery wiring.
I was thinking of starting with a S-system but then realized the s system top ris is too high, and I like it low, so M4 cqb/carbine/m733 would work for me.
If you take off the carrying handle, underneath carbine and m733 is a ris right?

Then I was thinking of getting something like

Thing is I really like the skeleton stocks...
so I'd probabaly have to use this:

but then there would be a battery issue. Becuase I'm a fan of high mAH, I would need a large type. Or a Lipo, but I'm tottaly clueless about Lipo. Can you just use a Lipo without any changes? Cuz the KWA guns claim to be "lipo ready"

How would I rewire the battery to the front then? I'll have to use a peq box I guess cuz the new handguard I doubt will fit large type... or again lipo if I somehow learn what that means LOL.

Wiring is simple, you open the mechbox, and then you re-wire back to the front. There are walls inside the mechbox for the 2 wires to travel. Well there are some mechboxes that may be ready for lipos, and the gears and bushings and the spring installed they have inside.
It really depends how you use your gun, and that will show or long your gun will last.
V2 mechboxes are known to break, and if you China quality, I am sure it will not last long with the li-po.
Also, you can still buy a lipo that fits inside the buffer tube if you decide to buy one, and no re-wiring needs to be done.

My favourite topic...

The front end is ok. It's a tiny, tiny inner barrel...so CQB friendly...but it'll be a shot gun at longer ranges. You can get the same look with a 10" RAS, 7" barrel and suppressor...it's longer but you can put a more practical inner barrel in there.

No space up front for much wiring/battery.

There are some smaller PEQ boxes coming out...but they're chunky so it might look odd on such a small rifle.

What about a ready-mag battery system?

The stock you're looking at would look unbalanced with such a short front end. Maybe with a 7" RAS setup...but not something that short. There is a shorter ACE style stock that would be more balanced...but you might not have any room for a battery. Mod stock maybe?

Unless you go with a PEQ box or a ready-mag system...you're going to be stuck with either custom making a mini stick battery or using Lipo sticks.

I'm not sure what "lipo-ready" means when people/companies use that term...I'm still coming to my own conclusions.

if v2 don't last long, do you mean they don't last long with lipos if not upgraded to do so?

I'm not entirely sure what a buffer tube is.

ya I was kinda thinking 4" doens't really give me anywhere to put my battery.
and ya I really hate the look of peq boxes, but question: for ready mags do you just put the battery on the mag then? Wouldn't that look kinda retarted :P I've never seen that

I won't risk lipo until I'm sure then... *sigh*

What if I started with a S-System as my base gun? Under the S-System is there the normal top ris on the upper receiver?
Then I'll just buy a troy style CNC front ras. And since this gun has a longer barrel, it won't look so funny with the 7" ras, and I really do prefer the flip up style of the S-System. I was actually gonna put those kind of sights after I built it with any m4.

I don't know...you kind of jumpped all over the place...

Some older s-system models used the top rail to hold the receiver together. Not sure about others.

If I get what you're going for....you're best of getting an plain old M4 body and building up from there.

If you want flip up sights...go with a set like this:

Or a front one like this (it'll match up flat with the RIS/RAS when folded down) and pick just a rear one.

Picture two m4 mags clipped together with a clamp/spacer (not with one upside down...but rather side by side) and inserted into the rifle. Well the dummy mag (the left one) is attached to the rifle and is hollow. You stuff your battery in there.

Thing is though, that the s-system is already wired to the front, that's probabaly what I'll need If i get skelly stock unless I use ready mag like you showed.

but ya I reallylike taht idea if it was more permanent. And how would the wiring go? Woudln't there be lots of exposed wireing with ready mag?

1. Rewiring a mechbox isn't too hard...once you're in the mechbox and see what's what, it's pretty straight forward. I find getting the wire lengths right, the shrink wrap and connectors nice more fiddly to do than resoldering the switch.

2. The hollow mag shell that holds the battery is attached to the bottom of the magwell...like a clamp that goes around it. Google images for ready mags and you'll figure it out. Yes, there'll be wires visible.

PEQ/ReadyMag/stock...your battery has to go somewhere....
