JG Full Metal HK416 originally comes with Metal Bushing

New to the airsoft gun world and my first gun is the JG Full Metal HK416.

http://www.gunnerairsoft.com/catalog...oducts_id=1312

I tried to disassembly the gun. I could successfully remove the front part of the gun, but I had problem taking the gearbox out. As I can see from the outlook, the gearbox is a full metal black ver.2 gearbox, and what surprised me was when I peeked at the side, I could see some shiny bushings reflecting the light.

I am pretty sure that those are metal bushing. I am just wondering if any JG full metal HK416 owner who can take out the gearbox and see I am right or wrong.

For now, I dont have a digital camera, so I can't get any picture. I will try take some pictures with my cell phone.

btw, this HK416 from JG is pretty nicely made, though a little bit heavy for carrying.

After a quick search, I found a previous review on the JG HK416 (plastic version) that said the bushings are non-metal.

Jing Gong has only recently began producing AEGs with metal bodies.

In mid 2008 they began creating mechboxes with metal bushings.

Your current full metal 416 should be the same gear box as its two earlier versions minus the difference in its bushings.

To remove your mechbox from the reciever.

Remove the reciever pins.
Remove the upper reciever.
Remove the stock and the stock tube screw that threads into the spring guide.
Remove the bottom motor plate and extract the motor, remove the screws on the inside of the pistol grip that secure the grip to the mechbox.
Remove the mag catch
Push out the body pin.

Now you should be able to slowly and gently rock the mechbox out of the lower reciever.
A small amount of force maybe required but you should be able to get it out with a little paitence.

most fail comment ever read the FAQ

deadbolt December 30th, 2009 16:23

don't mock me and just say yes or no
get off your high horse.

why must you people constantly send people all over your jumbled site to read this all holy FAQ.. i've read the damn thing.. nothing about anything that i don't already know.

pusangani December 30th, 2009 16:25

bcuz if you read the FAQ, you wouldn't ask questions like that one up there.

Conker December 30th, 2009 16:32

If you have read it, then you know that you can't buy guns outside of Canada.

And if you've got eyes, you probably realised that half the website is in Mandarin, and that it's written that they are located in Asia. Mind you, Canada is not in Asia.

Common sense

deadbolt December 30th, 2009 17:53

no it is not.
i've been through the site, normaly the site displays in their FAQ but they did not.
nor did they display the info in the contact us section.

number two, why would you display the site, then talk about that same weapon if indeed you couldn't order it?
you guy's are way to damn arrogant for your own good.
how on earth am i supposed to learn if you keep sending me URL's and sending me to the FAQ...

That's not the right attitude to go about learning anything. Keep in mind that no one here is obligated to answer your questions nor are they here to teach you things piecemeal. This is a forum, a repository of information where everyone contributes their knowledge and opinions. The knowledge is all here and to learn, you have to do your own research and find the answers yourself. Sometimes people post things that seem to carry an unfriendly tone, but we're all more than willing to point you in the right direction.

If you read the FAQs, you didn't read it carefully or you must have skipped this thread: linky. Here's a quote from that thread:

Quote:

Can I import airsoft guns into Canada?

The short answer is no. The Canada Border Services Agency (formerly Canada Customs and Revenue Agency) has a directive that says airsoft guns are replicas and are thus prohibited from importation.
These threads are also good reads:
linky 1
linky 2
linky 3
linky 4
linky 5

You may dislike links but it's really the best way to convey the info. Why transcribe it here when I could just point you there? You'll have to read the info either way right?

Anyway, I sincerely hope this helps you and further hope that I haven't come off as sounding arrogant, because I never meant to.

okay, i understand.
finaly someone with the linguistic skills of their age group.

yes, i read the FAQ.. i just thought with my common sense and logic that if you were sending a URL in a Canadian Airsoft Forum that the site was indeed a way of getting certain weapons or addons.. all i asked is if the site shiped to Canada I didn't need to be mocked by someone who can't put a period in a sentance.

i'm a lawyer , i know what the laws and restriction are for Canadian airsoft.
i mean no disrespect but i know them better than you guys.. unless some of you are lawyers, then maybe you are as well versed as i on the subject.
thank you.

Acid_Snake December 30th, 2009 20:41

I love how you criticize others for spelling, yet you can't even spell 'sentence'.

Poor form mister lawyer, poor form.

Spawn28 December 30th, 2009 20:42

Ohhhhhhhh buuuuuurrrrrrrrnnnnnnnn!!!!

Pretty sure shipped is spelled with 2 "p's" also.

SQUEEK!!!!!
