So I'm itching to shoot something in the woods here by my place. The city is pretty small with lots of woods to drive to and just plink.

Now my question is, would it be wrong, even worse illegal to own an airsoft gun without telling my landlord? Obviously i wouldn't be shooting it off in the house.

My land lord is a huge ass sometimes and I do think he is sneaking into my room while I'm away from home. I just don't want the bastard to find my aeg.

It's not illegal for you to own it.

It IS illegal, however, for your landlord to be entering your premises without your knowledge for no business-related purposes. You are entitled to your privacy.

I would invest in a cabinet though. If hes coming in theres nothing to stop him from just taking it and leaving. If you can't prove he stole it you've got nothing.

And back to your question, why not buy a BB gun? It's much more fun to plink with, since you can actually break stuff with it.

Airsoft BBs have a hard time punching paper at distances.

Why would it matter if you had an AEG or not?

I mean it's not illegal to own a pellet gun. Really it's your personal business and the landlord must BY LAW give you at least 24 hours notice before entering your premises, it doesn't matter what you signed in the contract if it was 6 hours or 12, BY LAW it is 24. (Some landlords will give you 48 hours notice in the contract, and they have to follow what it says in the contract but minimums have to be met in the landlord-tenant act).

Also they cannot enter your premises for non tenant-landlord issues. eg. they can enter if they suspect you have a grow-op, but cannot enter to gauge the kind of lifestyle you have.

Get a motion sensitive webcam or something and record if the landlord is entering your premises without your knowledge.
