Good looking flash hider / comp?
 

Hi guys, this might sound weird but read on through and I hope you'll understand me;

I just got myself a nice CA SAR M41 Offizier.

Here's the thing, I'm looking for a good looking flash hider that would realistically fit on an M41; you see I figured this thing in real life fires .308 and has a short barrel so the recoil must be fucking extreme. One willing to change the flash hider would get most likely a good compensator that suits a .308 so that's where I'm stuck;

What are the good looking compensators that would work with .308? I found the Madbull DNTC 308 but it appears it's the only one I can find except the ones for AK's...

Would a Noveske KX3 work on that since it's for short barreled rifles?
Would a compensator and or flash hider made for .223 fit for a .308 in real life?

Yeah, the KX3 fits on .308 (according to Noveske), others probably do too although I couldn't say how effective they'd be, specially on a short barrel (i.e., I wouldn't expect an A2 birdcage to do much except try to stay attached to the barrel).

The DNTC comp is a decent choice, albeit unusual looking (some like it, some don't).

I remember reading a review of the DSA SA58 Shorty, which is basically the FAL version of the SAR M41 Shorty, and it was supposed to have really mild and manageable recoil.

Thanks Drake; about the KX3, I'd like to see one installed first just to know what it looks like yet it's just damn impossible to find an image with that. If all else fail I'll probably go with the dntc in .308

Any other ideas?

I have the Element version for the SCAR-L.

Only difference is it's a bit shorter.

I got mine from Airsoft Parts Canada, but it's the L version also. The H one should be coming up for sale soon enough.

I have one DTNC 308, its quite nice :)

Too bad the SCAR-H flash hider isn't out, I guess I'll go with the DNTC 308 then..

If you guys have other suggestions, I'd be happy to hear 'em :)
