Nice.
I've been looking for an alternative to JG since VFC and Hurricane kits are hard to find now.

Battery in CRANE stock > battery in the foregrip on the JG

Any comments on CA's quality these days.
Back in the day, I remember people didn't have nice things to say about them.
Fit and finish now? Internals?

SHÖCK September 16th, 2008 01:23

CA as usual, has great fit and finish and parts on the exterior. But any outdoor gaming will require some mechbox upgrades.

dpvu September 16th, 2008 01:24

I'd like to nab one for the metal body (if it's metal like most CA bodies) but other than that there's nothing JG doesn't already do a decent job of. You'd probably want to upgrade a stock CA mechbox like you do when you get a JG anyways.

Very nice, I'll definitely get one as it'll be probably cheaper than a VFC.

This was announced from Spartan Imports back in early August.

I put an article up with the hi-res pics Spartan Imports sent out.

EDIT :: I'll add the YouTube vid too, for good measure.

I can unequivocally say that if these things hit the market, my JG is up on the selling block and I'm getting one. I love Classic Army guns.

i think i will buy one down the road, perhaps in the summer time. Because its CA, i dont forsee them doing a limited production run or having their production run cut short as was the situation with VFC. that being said, i prefer the trades on the VFC gun as opposed to the CA. Was anyone able to catch a glimpse at the fire-selector trades? Were they the H&K red and white ones?

wait... does the red and white fire selector symbols with the bullet in the box mean its an hk gun?

i already got a jg hk416 with fixed stock and bought a metal body for it but i have a ca v3 gearbox and its a pretty damn nice clean piece of equipment. cept the metal bushings are different than all my others and they dont seem removable as i cant or theyre just stuck and for some reason its stock yellow piston is the only one ive been able to make work in it

A little thing that's bugging me a little about this video is that it said M15A4 R.I.S on the box.

red_noir October 12th, 2008 20:40

Any word when it will be released? and how much?

Good job on adding nothing to the discussion. Like always.
(Yes I know this post is also...whatever)

CA takes FOREVER to release things.

I've been waiting 4 years for them to release their M134A :(

JoeyJackhammer October 14th, 2008 20:37

considering the "functional" bolt catch doesn't work properly and holds the charging handle open as well, I'd say this is a waste of money over the other416's on the market. Not only because of that, but adding a new feature to a gun, then totally fucking it up is just lazy.

Kudos to CA for preying on the misinformed/easily amused crowd.
