wal-mart modding

hi, I want to mod a full auto airsoft(or softair) gun that i got at wal mart. it is called "defender2". it is made by(or distibuted by) crossman as well. anyways i was wondering if a new motor, spring and gearbox would fit the gun. also will it be as kick ass as i hope. thank you in advance.

Save your money, wait until you are 18 and get verify then you can buy a real airsoft from Classified section, don't buy creapy gun from wall-mart or canadian tire.

You can't mod anything you buy at walmart without using duct tape. Nothing they sell is TM compatible.

Also, nothing you buy from walmart's clearsoft section will ever be kick ass.

Crosman IS coming out with TM compatible products but they arent available at Wal-Mart lol

From looking at the kind of things you find at walmart or Canadian Tire, I have to say that you'll have a decent workable airsoft weapon if you replace the complete gear box assembly, battery, wiring, all other internal parts, as well as all external parts. Aka, if you want a decent thing you are likely better off buying a real airsoft from on here.

You might be able to get something with enough work, but unless you have experience in crafting movie props or something, you'll likely wind up with a lump of dung that people will laugh at.

You can try modifying it, but I wouldn't waste my time on it personally. (And you are talking to someone that has made full shirts of maille because he was bored in highschool.)

+1 Last time I was there I bought a belt that was too big for me. I got out the ol' drill and bored me a new hole in the belt.

That's what you were talking about right?:p

haha speaking of basspro... my bro was lookin through a cabelas catalog the other day and found a kraken. i laughed. the reciever, front end, and mag were all clear. i wondered if it was one of the latest gen ones like i had bought
makes me wanna take a trip to the cabelas and basspro stores to see what they have on their shelves in way of the aftermath stuff

hahaha wal-mart and modding, two words that dont go together
