AK47 battery tray problem

hi
cant seem to get the battery try to fit all the way forward and i cant see what is stopping it any suggestions?

The wire with the fuse ??

You must dismount the folding stock and change the wire original position

Metal body? Often times w/ aftermarket metal bodies globs of paint will collect in the little "teeth" on the receiver that the tray slides into.
