whats the diffrence between the EOTECH551 and 552
 

im about to buy a eotech clone sight but i dont know what one is better,

there are 2 models im looking at the eotech 551 and the eotech 552 ( clones ). i cant find any diffrence between the 2 other then the fact that the 552 runs on X2 AA batts and the 551 ruuns on X4 watch style batteries. other then that, is there anythign else to consider? or do you guys recomend a particular model?

You'll need to do your own digging to see how closely the clones adhere to their features/designations.

Their will be a difference in lengths.

552 will be longer in the front to make up for the AA Batteries.


Also, if you get the AA battery 552, its easier to load up on batteries and also to change out in the field. Chances are if you ran out of batteries, someone else at the field will have a extra set.

The newer models, are suppose too have worked out some glitches. I guess the older models had a ghost image problem, (kinda like a double vision)

i seriously think more peeps would have CR123. Mainly because, your taclights run on them too. my M3 tac light for my glock uses CR123s, and many others do as well

i did look further into this and that is the only diffrence. other then the length there is nothign else.

the 552 clone is the 551 clone they just use diffrent batteries.
