Hurricane HK416 Battery Extention

I have the HurricanE HK416 / 417 stock and have had to rigg my own extention for the colapseable stock. Is there anyone out there that has the actual coil wire extention that would want to sell it. I am talking about the Coiled wire that connects the battery cable to the gearbox cable. This is needed since it colapses and extends but has little room to do so. I would love someone who has swaped out stocks on there hurricane kit to let me buy there coil wire from them. Here is a pic.

Oh bugger, Im sorry Hk, I have the exact same stock and coil got tossed when the install was done, we stripped it all right off.

Not directly answering your question, but I've used heatshrink tube and flexible wire (high heat silicone wire that I got from a hobby shop...really "floppy"). Coiled it around a dowel and shrunk the heatshrink. Stays in it's coil shape really well...

Tried the same with stiffer wire...doesn't work.

I have that stock and I'm using the wire but my question is; why did you get rid of it in the first place?

I bought it of eBay in a package deal shipped for $60 includeing the 16 inch bbl extention, 14inch extention, a sling, the rear sight, and a few more peices of the HurricanE HK416 kit. They were all new and the guy that sold them only sold them as they were unused in his custom build he made. The stock alone is well over $100. He said he could not find the coiled wire, but I bought it anyway as I new I could make one or find someone eles with one.

Yeah you're right mate. I didn't remember I paid over 100$ for a stock.....

Well it's an awesome stock and I wouldn't want anything else :)

I remeber how much mine cost, its almost half as expensive as my JG Hk416 in Canadian price, however my stock still goes in and out just fine, even though the coils were stripped the coils off

Mine goes in and out fine aswell, I made my own extention to do this. It is just that it snags sometimesx and I would rather find someone will ing to let their's go if not in use.
