Help with a King Arms QD Silencer for MP5

Hello

I bought a QD Silencer for MP5 by King Arms. It is suppose to fito n the three lugs of the tip of the MP5 ...like a flash hider.

I have tried it on a TM MP5, on a CA MP5 too and nothing works...

Any one has that silencer ?

I am thinking on using the King Arms 3 Lug and replacing it to the MP5...but I don't know if this will do the trick

Any help would be appreciated...

Thanks

D

got it!

Hi Deltastrike,
I've found a way to make that silencer fit on the 3 lugs flash hider!

This is the silencer(King Arms QD MP5 Silencer, #KA-SIL-25):

For your information, I've fitted it on an ICS MP5. So I don't know if this will work on TM/CA/JG MP5's.

Anyway, what I did is I sanded the flash hider. The 3 lugs are too large to fit in the 3 lugs plug of the silencer. Here is a pic of what to sand:

I also had to shorten the flash hider since it was too long and it was rubbing at the end of the fitting of the silencer.

Since I've sand the flash hider, I've repainted it. After a few installation of the silencer on it, some paint chipped away. You can see where it is still rubbing and those are the places you will need to sand.

So, I hope this helps. Here's a pic of the silencer fitted on the MP5.

I just took out the oring in my KA MP5 silencer and replaced it with a thinner O ring... I even bought a KA steel lug because I thought that would fit for sure!... nope lol. Pop out the oring and you'll notice it now magically fits, but the o ring is needed for support

no, it has nothing to do with the o-ring. The flash hider wouldn't go in if it wasn't modified. What is the brand of your MP5?

Ah my mistake, I forgot to mention I originally tried the original CA one which came with my mp5, then a Tokyo Marui one, then the King Arms one which STILL didnt fit unless I took out the o-ring. But if you have a TM or CA 3 ug you'll have to indeed shave it down a bit.
