Barrel threads; H&K MK23 vs USP Tactical
Are they the same? Can the MK23 suppressor fit on the Tactical? (KJ iirc)
as far as i know the tm socom silencer can fit other weapons but not without adapters.
Thanks, the reason I ask is because the USP seems to have a non-14mm thread at the front too.

Negative. The RS, and AS are both incompatible. The RS Socom has a specialized suppressor, which cannot fit on anything else, but itself. I'm quite sure the same applies for AS.
KSC uses 16mm thread, so conventional FH, and suppressors will NOT fit... :( |
The USP tactical use standart TM threading. I used to own one, and I tried several TM compatible silencers on it.
14mm for sure, negativ or positive, I don't rember wich is the standard one. |
The TM silencer is a 14mm negative thread. If the USP has the same thread as the KSC Mk23 then it is a 16mm negative.
Not that it really contributes much, but I have a KSC MK23 and it has a -16mm threaded suppressor. And it fits my TM MK23 springer perfectly. What the TM NBB MK23 has for threads........... unsire.
All the Mk23s have 16mm, USPs have 14mm
The Tm mk23 NBB has a 16mm thread. The supressor is compatable ONLY with the KSC Mk23, as they both have the same thread.
Theres a metal slide/outer barrel kit made by Shooters Design that has USP Tactical trademarks with 16mm- threads. I was thinking about getting it for my KSC USP.45 so I could use the KSC Socom silencer, but I ended up finding an adapter that replaces the threads on the silencer to make it 14mm.

Great stuff, thanks guys.
