Don't look at all the pictures yet. It would be too easy!

Crapsoft springer.

Styrak November 1st, 2007 01:53

Um...crap? To tell you the truth, I looked at the pictures and they didn't tell me anything. Other than it's some crap gun. Is that the answer? Do I win?
Also, how much was it?

dodger_me November 1st, 2007 01:55

why dont you open it... with a rock

Drake November 1st, 2007 02:22

That's a Crosman Pulse R70 in black (maybe a paintjob).

I win.

edit: actually I am gonna say its a paintjob, since the black R70 had a 14 inch barrel. The clear one had the R34-style 12.5 inch barrel (which is actually interesting -- and was the giveaway: I can see the flash hider right after the step on the barrel), so it was probably clear and painted.

Woaw... I can't believe someone voted TM....

It is the Colt licencied M4 from Walmart....

Yes it's a crappy springer, but actually it is not crappy at all!!

I mean it can compare to a stock TM in range AND accuracy. I tested.

Came with a 300 rounds hicap, just like ours, but in cheap version. With a little (I really mean a little) dremeling, it can accept some KA or other brand armalite mags. Only have to extend the rear of the magwell about 2mm.

The best part so far, all the rails on it are METAL. Not CNC, but still, better than a lot of others. The foregrip RIS can be remove via the delta ring. All the rails are milspec. You can mount any other airsoft accessories. There is NO wobble at all. Flex is so minimal, I think there is less than in a stock M4, with the 3 piece barrel not modded.

The stock is VERY solid for a cheap 50$ softair. 3 positions. The ejection port opens when you operated the cocking handle (used to cock the spring back and load a bb).

Now is the desert. It has an ajustable HOP-UP!!!!! Really working!!! Tried some shitty .12 bbs, some excel .20's and some bastard .28. I managed to adjust the hop almost perfect in all cases. So far the .20's are the best, maybe .23's.

As usual, all the accessories that come with it are shit. The only one worthe mention is the vertical grip. Though it looks plastic, it has a very strudy feel. It has to be slid from one end of the rail (so I can't take it for my G36).

The reflex sight is somewhat good. Better than most of other crapsoft ones. You can actually adjust the position of the dot. Everything is very loose, so any setting will be lost after a single shot.

The flashlight is somewhat good, using a little 7mm white LED. Still crapastic.
I used it to go scare the shit out of little kids tonight (halloween night hehehehe) Worked alright.

Package state 295 fps. Tested with the pop can trick, that estimate is preaty close, actually probably higher. This is the first softair that come with some .20 bbs instead of .12's.

The package also came with a springer handgun.
Not the best thing around, but I like it, fun to complete a kit and never use it.
There is a big rail system mounted on it. Not worth shit. The top rail is so huge that it can't be used for anything. The mini flashlight is a blue LED. Nothing else to say. Aims fairly good.

Now for a 50$ shitty kit, it really is worth that 50$ I will work on the M4 to try and make a springer counter-sniper with it. Got a cheap bipod here somewhere around. Just for a frien of mine to play once in a while.

Before anyone flames me, I bought that with my friend for Halloween props. We could walk in the streets, even go buy some beer at the cornerstore with it. Got some compliments from COPS! He was playing ScarFace (could not find a M16 with M203... so the M4 did the job). I was just in my CADPAT suit, no vest, and some facepaint... in the face.... Ya I know it could have been problematic, but the druken guys fighting everywhere kept the authorities busy.

If anyone decide to paint a gun, get some Tamiya flatblack, a cheap airbrush and 5 min. By the time you paint one side, the other is dry. A single coat did the job well. GN!

Wrong on the pulse.

Not Crossman. CyberGun (wich is a division of Maruzen)

It is the Colt "M11" package with a handgun.

Funny thing, in the picture with the aimpoint, the later was worth about twice the rest of the gun.

Where did you buy it? Crappy tire sells the same kit for like $120 (or used to).

Hrm, wow. That's the only other softair (or even airsoft) gun i've seen with that 12.5" barrel setup (I'd started looking for one after I saw the VLTOR VIS) Really wish they'd make that barrel for airsoft, sheesh. What a bummer seeing it on TWO crappy softairs now.

link to yours for ref:

I think that makes it an interesting find (being Cybergun, relatively uncommon here).

CyberGun S.A. is a French manufacturer/distributer though, no relation to Maruzen.

Why the HELL would you need a 300 round magazine with a SRPINGER?!

ThunderCactus November 1st, 2007 03:42

It's obviously crapsoft, I'm sorry but the shade of black is a dead give away.

I though Cybergun was a division of French airsoft manufacturer 3PSA....

Kos-Mos November 1st, 2007 13:26

If you look further...

Found some Maruzen precision BB publicity in the box of 10 000 BB I bought to make nades. They are somewhat related, that is for sure.

Still, bought it at Walmart.

And for the shade of black, I painted it with some Tamiya flat black, an airbrush and some spare time. It was originally clear, and looking shit.

Could have been a G&G painted. I will repaint my G36K with that paint.

Asking for trouble. Those particular cops might've stopped and said "cool" but another pair could've drawn their weapons and put a controlled pair into you.
