Krylon Camo

Well, honestly I dont know how long this has been out on the market.
Some of you may already know of this product and some of you may have never heard of it or seen it today. Anyways, I just thought I would throw this out there as this may prove relevant to your interests.

I myself picked up 3 cans of this stuff plus some primer from Canadian tire. I dont know why, I dont have any projects to paint but if I does any paintning with it, I'll let you guys know, Im just sorta compulsive when it comes to buying random shit. From what I can tell though, the colors are, Tan, olive drab, black and brown. All very matt and non shiny. I went in to buy some light bulbs and and I didnt even get my fucking light bulbs.

Oh yeah this stuff is HELLA TIGHT! They sell it at Wal-Mart and stuff and is very rugged. A Teammate has had is M4 Furniture painted with the OD kind and it has not come off and it has been about 5+ Months.

This stuff is great! Just be sure to put it on very lightly and put lots of coats. You can't be lazy with this stuff..

Oh Tokyo. You and your shit-buying. Especially gear now.

I used that paint on my M4-S, and damn proud of the results. However, for those who intend to paint over the hand grip, use a Workable Fixatif over your paint job afterward. It does leave a shine, but it will protect your paint from rub off ( do protect the rest of your gun from it though ;P )

Krylon makes a completely clear protective coating.

:)

My M14 is painted a lighter shade of OD and protected... Only wear is from my mags on my belt scratching against the side when my rifle is at rest.

Are you trying to be facetious? Or are you just plain stupid? I can't tell.

IF your painting anything not metal, I would suggest Dupli color vinyl and dye spray paint.

I have to sing the praise of this stuff, it looks amazing. I painted my M-16 VN body flat black (from the camo system) and it looks awesome. I use C7 rifles all the time and this makes a marui armalite look 100% more realistic, the body looks just like the real thing. I completely stripped everything off the body, sanded with 400 grit sandpaper, gave her 2 coats (so as not to fill up the trademarks too much) and its great. Not sure what the long term reliability of it but hell for 10$ its well worth it.

That's the stuff I used to coat that crapsoft 36C a while back. The paint was better then the gun is. it's pretty, good, just make sure you do a second coating on it.
