So I just ordered an airsoft rifle from www.airsoftgi.com

I just ordered an airsoft rifle from a website in the states and then I went to Google to see if other people did the same and just realized now that the Canadian border seizes airsoft guns at the border? If they do that, why would there even be an option to send the airsoft guns to Canada on the website? I bought my airsoft rifle from www.airsoftgi.com

Should I cancel my payment now? It's still pending.

Cancel it right now because it will get seized and destroyed. There is no loophole.

They probably have a Canadian delivery option for all of the items on the website that are okay to ship up here.

You stand a high risk of having this item seized by customs and enjoying the warm feeling of being on a watch list.

If I were you, I would cancel that order.

canadianoy September 6th, 2007 15:00

Well shit. How do I cancel it now?

Okay guys, I just called Airsoft, and the guy said he'll cancer the order because I told him I live in Canada.

Although, he did ask me if I knew anyone that lived by the border in the states.

You mean he tried to induce you into committing a criminal or quasi-criminal act?

I'm still refreshing the page and the order didn't get cancelled yet. Should I be worried??? He said he would cancel the order, but the order is not cancelled yet!

Worst case, you can always stop the payment with your CC company.

canadianoy September 6th, 2007 15:15

So I should wait a day, and if it's not cancelled, I can use my CC company to cancel the order?

He'll cancel the order of course right? I think airsoftGI is a good company?

Give it a day, it may take a while for the cancellation to propagate in their system.

No idea if airsoftGI conduct good business. They're Yanks, so you never know ;)
