m15a4 barrel removal

I am looking to remove the outer barrel on my m15a4 and converting it to a compact sniper. How do I remove the outer barrel?

you need a special wrench to loosen the delta ring nut.

Is that just on CAs that you need the wrench? On my TM knockoff you can just twist it with your hands (a bit tight but still comes).

G&P setups use the same tool. CA, King Arms & G&P front ends closely replicate real steel.
TM is a poorly re-engineered copy, hence the barrel wobble issues.

them sumbitches classic army, thats why all the other guides didn't work thanks.

You think it's a bad thing that they copied the real thing? Lol.

So if I am not mistaken then, if CA Armalites will take real parts, namely the rear stock adapter for a single sling mount should fit right?

The nest question is, how to remove and install. :s

If you're looking to take the delta ring nut off and don't want to spend 20-some-odd dollars on a stupid wrench, just use a pair of channel locks. Worked for me :P

Or put two post pin into those holes and stuck a screw driver in there, then twist. I saw someone did it before, but I don't know where he got thost pins.

Hope it help

+1. That's what I've used on my guns as well and never had an issue. Vise grips work too as long as you don't use crushing force.
