systema 250% spring

guys im new here. i hope im welcome here.
somebody handed me a systema 250% spring.
what is this for? is this for bolt action sniper spring?
or it could be install in any AEG mechbox?

thanks!

Xenos-Fear January 29th, 2007 02:46

MMmmm.. AEG Mechbox, you'll torn your mechbox apart with that spring and without the proper upgrades... it's probably for Sniper Bolt Action Rifle... nothing else...

From my part, I've never heard someone using that kind of spring... too powerful ! FPS limits in Canada is 400 fps AEG, and 450 fps SNiper... for most of the games in CA. So... I don't think it's gonna be useful for you in here...

By the way, welcome on ASC Boards.

thanks mate.your right,i my self dont wanna hurt my playmates in this kind of spring..
any idea what FPS is this?
by the way i brought this spring from japan..my friend got this stuff from the japanese underground market and handed it to me because the Japanese Government regulates now the aeg spring power into .90 J so beyond this are no longer acceptable in any game fields.

the spring packed inside the transparent test tube like case..
it looks like a scary stuff though..

250% systema spring are for PSG-1 (from what i know) take something else for AEG

Tirador January 29th, 2007 03:08

i see.thanks a lot mate..
i hope somebody could give a correct FPS on this 250% systema spring..

Greylocks January 29th, 2007 06:19

All you need to know is that it's not safe to use, and unless you have a PSG1 it's useless to you.

Until you know more, check the Newbie Guide, and fill our your user profile a bit so that we can suggest actions based on where you live (different laws for different countries).

A Systema 250% spring will cause havoc for you gearbox and the rest of the internals. If by chance you were able to get it to work using a reinforced gearbox and all...it'll be shooting way to hot for any field, unless you were making a home made sniper rifle. I had a Sun Project M40A1and I had the reinforced bolt installed. I installed a PDI 200% spring and was using .25g bb's, it was chronied around the 480-490 fps. I also had a PDI 300% spring of which I never used due to the fps were way over the allowed 500 fps limit for sniper rifles.

Droc January 29th, 2007 12:38

but Systema rates their springs different then PDI, so it could be crazy high.

You might kill someone and reach a velocity near a real bullet if that kind of spring really exist ! Don't use it if you don't want any trouble !

Just stay out of anyones sight... or where they could see on the rare occasion.

Secondly, put a three lung flash hider on there. 'Thirdly', give me the front hand guards.

the front hand guard is made out from the original TM m16 vietnam version front hand guard.
what i did was.i cut it into half and did some plastic molding on the tip in order to fit into the sunpro (sunproject) outer barrel..
i think its easy to make some modifications if you got a complete tools up there.

ok il look for that lung flash hider that u've said.
thanks anyway!!
