KSC Mk23 Hard Kick poor gas flow

Hey, looking for someone good with the KSC Mk23 to help out here.

So I'm having trouble with poor gas flow. When I fire the gun, it doesn't release enough gas to cycle the slide at all, and just spits the BB out at pretty low velocity. I'm guessing this has something to do with the hammer spring not hitting the mag valve hard enough to open it up properly, but that's just a guess, I really don't have much experience with GBB's besides fixing leaky mags.

Any ideas or suggestions on how to get this baby firing at full power again?

Thanks,
Oates

probably the spring part no.65 that might be faulty, happened to me aswell afte extensive use of the gun.

I'll check that part when I find my manual. Thanks SEALs.

Sorry to dig this thread up but I'm having this problem as well.

It's a KSC Mk23 Old Version as far as I can tell (maybe Hard Kick? How do I tell exactly?). The slide kind of quarter/half cycles and BB comes out at something like 35 FPS (measured using Xcortech chrono).

There's something else that I noticed with it though. When I cock it by pulling the hammer back (ie. put it into single action mode) it will do a "full cycle" but in double action mode it just half cycles and it's a crapshoot of whether it will actually shoot the BB out or not.

Maybe the spring that pushes the hammer to actuate the knocker that hits the valve is worn down or too weak? Just a random idea that kind of looks like it might be the cause....
