Hmmm from the pics I don't think the rear sight is detachable. Too bad.

Another reason for me to get a TM 1911 now, but does anybody else find it odd that it comes with the entire blowback chamber and other innards?

same here the in graved is so much better.

It looks like a completely different colour than the rest of the gun.

Rather wait for the PGC full metal kits... gauranteed better quality and trademarks than the unit shown above.

That's a steal for TM yet again. Now you're paying 300 bucks for a few small parts in the frame after you get a metal frame......I hate TM's crappy offerings.

agreed. the gun itself looks very grey, but im yet to see one in person.

Full Metal = Not superior. Don't beleive me? do a comparison between KJ and TM P226s.

Ya I know I know, but the point is for a person like me who can't stand a plastic toyish remake, it boils down to me paying hundreds for a plastic frame that probably costs them a couple bucks to make, crammed with a few little parts. Then I have to bloody well buy a frame and slide to make it realistic (to my standards) Someone aught to start copying their internals and stick it to them for; I'll build my own gun.

Anyway, back to this topic, sorry about that. Hopefully there will be an aluminum set to come out sometime and I'll consider blowing another 500~ish on this too.
