plastic battery holder inside the sig 552
 

I found many threads about sig 552 battery upgrade but could not find anything on the inside plastic battery holder.
So here goes...

Does the plastic battery holder inside the foregrip of the sig552 help keep the barrel in the right place? just curious if it can come out to fit the battery in easier? i have an upgrade to the battery connectors and it fits better without..just worried it create an unsteady barrel inside the grip.

I hope this makes sense to you hard working upgraders
