You want accuracy? Buy a 6.03mm tightbore barrel (550mm works great.) & match it with Type-0 cylinder.

Add on a PDI %150 spring, metal bushings & bearing spring guide and you're set.

You're advising someone to add 30cm to their P90?

do you have the TR or the normal P90 cause u can run a longer barrel through the slincer in TR that should help a lot.

Greylocks December 30th, 2005 06:17

You can try to force a P90 to have longer range. It will cost a fair bit.

Or you can keep the P90 for shorter ranges and buy a gun with a very long barrel instead.

Guns that have longer ranges and selective fire are; M16 series, AUG, AK, G3, and M14. General hint; the longer the gun is, the more accurate it will be and the longer range it will get. This is not always true, but you get the idea.

Most accurate? That depends more on your skills than the gun.

BIG PUZZLE I HAVE TO SOLVE

Well, the way I see it, P90 is a CQB weapon so not ment for accuracy at long range.

If you want accuracy for long range, you might want to concider a sniper rifle and if you want to stick to AEG, the M14 could be a good choose.

Blastyman December 30th, 2005 11:57

I would have to say the m14. Its close to bolt action accuracy.

But not everybody is manly enough to field such a large gun! =p heh

need more advise, from many peoples before buying another AEG
want to see if all agree

Before classifying your gun as not accurate ;) try heavier and higher quality bbs (i like KSC perfect .25s). Tighten everything, especially bits that hold the barrel in place. Clean the barrel with the stick thingie, re-adjust the hop up and try again. Most of the time people disregard the bb quality, which plays a huge role in consistancy at range.

I think the p90 is one of the more accurate (consistant) stock guns around. I played around with someone's AK once and that was extremely consistant as well. Stock m4's seem to have pretty bad groupings with the barrel wobble, though FMU'ed ones with the one piece barrel gets you some impressive results. G3's are long yes, but i've haven't seen too many fielded, and from the reviews I've read from people upgrading them for sniper/support roles, they don't get the performance they would like. The m14 also looks pretty good for long range. seen a bunch of those fielded and they do quite good at long range.

If you aren't looking into bolt action rifles, the M14 sounds like it'll fit your needs.

Also, Im curious as to what you consider 'long range' airsoft guns aren't the most accurate things in the world, what range do you want to engage people in with this gun?

The AUG or M14 for best bang for the buck, both have reliable gearboxes, long barrels and both are damn sexy.
