What happened to their M1911A1? DAMN, I wanted that, where is it?
And by the way, DAMN, I love the USP, especially the compact.

ToRN December 4th, 2005 22:15

Not from KSC there wont, but there will be a metal slide out for this sooner or later as usual. But FINALLY the KSC USP 45 is coming out! Ive been waiting for this since it was announced months ago..... man im all excited now. Fuckin' A!

That aside, im getting this AS SOON as its available, but i want the Japanese version not the Taiwanese one, as we all know KSC makes em in two versions.

Tru! Hook me up man! ME BUY NOW!

BTW writing looks more Japanese than Taiwanese.... you can use good 'ol Babelfish to translate

Swoo December 5th, 2005 01:16

No its Japanese...and Taiwanese isn't a type of written language btw, it's Chinese. It's about time they released the full USP, you figure it wouldn't be that much more difficult when they already have the compact. Man if it takes this long to release the USP, I'm not going to hold my breathe for the 1911

nemattoad December 5th, 2005 03:18

I am so excited as well. The USP45 is one of if not the nicest pistol ever (in my opinion).

lamlok December 5th, 2005 04:09

KSC USP.45 is schedule to on sale on 17/12.
guys, it would be a nice x mas gift.
The 1911 from KSC is schedule BEHIND P226 rail introduction, so you better wait for mid year 2006 or autumn black hole show for release.
For starter, all USP you can buy will be Jap version.
If you are heading for metal slide, you better save your $ for taiwan version, as the main difference between taiwan and jap version is the quality of the plastic slide and barrel

Thanatos December 5th, 2005 06:56

Visions of counter-strike fairys dance in my head, saying that i must get it, as well as a threaded barrel.
TM is releasing a full sized USP as well are they not, but I heard it is going to be electric. I guess KSC will have to take my money :'( :)

I thought I came to the conclusion after reading numerous threads, that there is no difference from KSC Japan and KSC Taiwan. Are they not both made in Taiwan and one is shipped back to Japan for more quality control?

Is it worth it to get the KSC Japanese version over the KSC Taiwanese one? When I say KSC Taiwan I don't mean KWA.

When you say there are differences like cheaper plastics and the barrel being metal are you referring to KSC vs KWA? Arg I'm sick of reading contradictory posts about KSC, I wish I could get the strait facts!

OK, so I wanna buy the KSC USP Compact from spec arms, but they have the Taiwanese KSC. Should I look for the Japanese one if its better build quality? Or is there no difference? Maby I should wait for the full sized KSC USP!

Hollow-Point December 6th, 2005 00:22

YES finally!! man and i just spent all my money! must....have....h&k...*droool*

The KSC Jap is made in JAPAN and KSC taiwan is made in TAIWAN.
The difference is material, as JAP version have better plastic material (of course QC is also better)
If you are not going to change to Metal slide/barrel set, go for the JAP version as it is better built. If you are going to change the slide anyway, go for the Taiwan version as the quality of the slide won't matter anymore. :xmas:

Wow, this is way cool. I really don't understand why the compact came out before the fullsize anyways. Thanks for the link!

Gryphon December 6th, 2005 10:03

I hope the quality on this pistol isn't as poor as the USP Compact. That's the worst gun for early breakage I've ever seen.
