1911 Compatibility

I am looking into a new side arm and am stuck between the KWC 100th anniversary edition 1911, and the Elite Force 1911 Tac.

I love the anniversary edition for the external quality. I've heard the Elite Force is simply a rebranded KWC. What draws me to the elite force is the availability of replacement kits for mags and guns.

Would elite force replacement parts be accepted in a KWC?

If its the same OEM I don`t see why not.

KWC/Elite Force/Other rebrands, ect... are really not that great for parts availability and aftermarket support but their guns are at a good entry level price point, kick hard (Co2) and feel comparable in fit and function to more expensive up market brands.

You can`t go wrong with ether choice so long as you know what you are getting and what you are not...

That's pretty accurate. Hero outdoors in Canada and Evike in the US both sell Elite Force branded replacement parts kits. If it weren't for that, I'd consider a TM.

Thanks for the feedback :)

Just remember that when you break a part and order that parts kit, you are reinstalling that same crappy part that already broke once, they arent upgrades, just a direct oem replacement.

Have you thought about a KJW? You can order replacement parts right from their website, but they're pretty robust machines. And they take just about every TM upgrade part you could want.

+1 for KJW

Why not get a TM?

Don't get a KWC/EF. TM and KJW mags/parts/etc are much more widely available than KWC, since they're proprietary.
