Okay guys, running into a bit of a problem. I got a new magazine in the mail and it seems to fit the lower frame perfectly, but with the slide on, the bottom of the nozzle is hitting the gas seal and the feed lips on the mag definitely look too tall for it to clear.

Is there a version with a shorter feed lip?

It's an NS1(mag has a solid front and the notch in the middle)

is the gun an ns1 gun? from what I remember the mags will lock into frames but they won't actually work because the ns2 and ns1 systems are vastly different.

Yes, for sure. The NS2 mags have the catch on the side and an opening to see the spring. In the magwell on this one, it's in the middle.

Watched a few more videos, I got this pistol as a fixer upper. Turns out I have a NS2 slide on an NS1 frame...

I'm surprised you were able to find a new ns1 mag.
